Vases in various forms have recently become a favorite theme for the artist. Michal Škapa recently created a series of ceramic and glass vases and objects. He also explores this theme in his graphic work. Here, he draws partly on Asian traditions, and the vases themselves feature his own writing and depictions of a dance of skeletons. The dance of life and death as a reference to an eternal theme in culture and human life.
