Pavel Šmíd – Lithograph from the album Kafka 100

Lithographic print by artist Pavel Šmíd. The print is part of the Kafka 100 graphic print album, in which 10 Czech artists reflect on their personal relationship to Franz Kafka. The album was created on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Franz Kafka’s death. The initiator and publisher is the K-A-V-K-A bookstore. Each of the artists created a lithograph, which was printed in Petr Korbelář’s graphic workshop. Thirty complete albums with ten prints were produced in an original handmade box (signed by the artist and numbered 1/30–30/30). The album was graphically designed by Jiří Troskov and produced by the Hässlers bookbinding workshop.
