About author
Lukáš Novák (*1987) is a contemporary artist and conceptual glassmaker whose work draws on the traditions of his native Nový Bor. He studied at the UMPRUM glass studio in Prague under Rony Plesl. A characteristic feature of his work is his use of light and optical illusion. He explores the boundaries of glass while paying homage to Czech craft traditions. He has presented his work at a number of international exhibitions, and his works are represented in private collections in Czechia and abroad.
