Album of graphic prints by 10 Czech artists reflecting their personal relationship to Franz Kafka. The album was created on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Franz Kafka’s death. The initiator and publisher is the K-A-V-K-A bookstore. Each of the authors created a lithograph, which was printed in Petr Korbelář’s graphic workshop. Thirty complete albums with ten prints were created in an original handmade box (signed by the author and numbered 1/30–30/30). The album was graphically designed by Jiří Troskov and produced by the Hässlers bookbinding workshop. Each box is a handmade original, produced using original special papers (some up to 70 years old) with different textures and motifs, so that each box has its own unique visual character.
Authors of the prints:
František Skála, Petr Nikl, Vendula Chalánková, Jan Švankmajer, Luboš Plný, Josef Bolf, Pavel Šmíd, Margita Titlová-Ylovsky, Stefan Milkov, and Jindřich Zeithamml.
